You will receive your list of entries by email, please check this carefully and contact us as soon as possible to make any corrections or amendments at least 24 hours before the auction start date and time.
CHARGES
SELLERS COMMISSION RATES 15%
Hallmarked Gold & Silver may have a special commission rate applied for items selling over £150
Lot Entry Fee: £2 Lotting Fee Per Item Consigned
Unsold items will be void of lotting fees with the exception of bulky items requiring two man lift where a £5 Lotting fee will be payable regardless of Sale.
Insurance:
No Extra fees for insurance, inclusive within 15% Commission Fees.
Illustration:
Every lot offered is illustrated as part of the catalogue published on www.easyliveauction.com. Images of the items may be included in printed publications / social media or advertising at our discretion. Illustration and photography charges are included within the lotting fee.
Withdrawal:
Lots Withdrawn after catalogue is published are subject to a £2.50 admin fee
Sale Proceeds:
Subject to our normal trading conditions, payment will be made within 14 days after the sale. All payments are paid via BACS Transfer unless under £50, Which with prior arrangement can be settled in cash. We reserve the right to withhold payment for any items we have not received payment for. We will make every effort to collect payments in a timely manner from Bidders to avoid any withheld payments to vendors
Reserves:
This is the minimum price at which we will sell your item and is normally pitched at the lower end of the estimate. The reserve is subject to an “Auctioneers Discretion” of 10% to allow leeway to secure a sale. Items which fail to reach a reserve in one sale will automatically be re entered into a following sale with a 20% Reduction, if unsold in the second appropriate sale it will be offered for a third time with no reserve unless collected or otherwise agreed in writing.
THE VENDORS ARE BOUND BY THE CONDITIONS OF SALE AS PUBLISHED IN NLB AUCTIONS SALES CATALOGUES ALSO AS DIS PLAYED IN THE SALEROOM AND WEBSITE.
Collection of Unsold Lots:
Collection of Unsold Lots: NLB Auctions reserve the right to charge for storage on any Lot(s) that have not been collected within 10 days of the end of the auction date without prior arrangement. If after 10 days from the sale date the lot(s) remain uncollected the items will be come property of NLB Auctions to dispose of as we see fit. (This May include offering your items up for sale to cover our costs)
Third Party Liability:
Every person at NLB Auctions Premises will be deemed to be there at their own risk. There shall be no claim against NLB Auctions in respect of any accident which may occur, injury, damage or losses however caused, Save in so far as the injury, damage or loss shall be caused by any negligence of NLB
Auctions.
The auctioneers act as agents only and have sole discretion regarding the type of sale into which all items are entered and to the description of all items unless agreed in writing by the vendor.
The auctioneers reserve the right to decline or to accept for sale any article, this includes after an item has been accepted by any member of staff.
The right is reserved to charge to dispose of any unsaleable items. This includes items such as; Items which contain wood worm or damaged items that decrease the value of a lot. This is not an exhaustive list, but items that fall into this criteria will be communicated to the seller in writing and given the opportunity to collect within an agreed timeframe. (Items that are found to contain live woodworm will be stored outside until the time of collection or disposal)
The Auctioneers may sell after the sale (by private treaty) any items that failed to reach their reserve at or above the reserve price agreed. All goods must comply with safety regulations made under the “Consumer protection act 1987”
